9-23-2004 Piggyback a dye order: When your customer uses less than minimum dye lots of colors that we don't stock, it is possible to add greige goods to an existing open dye order so that we can fill the order. The following contingencies must be met for this to happen: 1. An open dye order must exist which it is not too late to change example: An open dye order for V406 with an issue date on the dye order of 2 weeks prior is probably too late to change 2. The customer must accept the same color and width as is on the open dye order. If your tagging on to a beige 60" dye order, the customer has to order the same shade of beige in the same width, 60" 3. There must be greige goods in inventory that are of the same type (dyeability) as the open dye order. Greige goods dyed together must be the same 'merge' in order to have the color come out the same. Diferent "merges" take dyes differently 4. The customer must order in increments of the size of the greige goods rolls in inventory multiplied by the conversion factor. For Example: You have greige goods inventory which are the same type as a dye order. The size of the greige rolls is 500 lbs. If the conversion factor is 2, the customer has to order 1000 yds or 2000 yds etc.
