For Buddy July 11-15 #14 Fix wobble in piv. If yarn is loaded in top, check judder and fix if its still there. #23 If bottom runs out, fix judder in bottom bar. Adjust signal arm roller so you don't need vice grips. #18 Floor mount chain too loose, chain is skipping. Remove link(s) as necessary. #10 Rotate pattern wheels so that timing holes line up with hole on hub. Adjust timing from underneath machine as necessary. #17 If bottom runs out, check jump in take up leaving line across fabric and repair. Also, set up floor mount properly with interconnect chain between batching rollers and proper sprockets. #20 Replace top pattern wheel when it comes in and start machine. #35 Check bottom signal arm roller won't stay pressed on beam. Remove, dismantle, dress and lubricate. KNITTER TRAINING: Continue having knitters remove crossed ends and twists. Assign one knitter at a time to one beam at a time and keep a log of what they do. Check behind knitters for proper repairs. Continue enforcing ONE KNITTER PER DEFECT, no jumping around, sharing jobs. THREADER TRAINING: Continue enforcing DO NOT STAND ON ROLLERS. It damages roller cover and causes premature failure. No mistakes in threading. Review how to check AS YOU THREAD with Marshall. Let him know he must fix all mistakes before continuing. OTHER: Russell Jones is starting on 7/11 on C Shift. He will work M T W TH only. He will train in warping M T W with Ron Hooks from 4:30-8:00, then he will go to knitting. He is already far along in training in knitting. He should be able to fix smashes and he can point and thread.
