Affadavit of Florence Simons Feb 15 1895 My age is 23. Janet Simonds is my mother- Something over two years ago we were all living together at 111 E 108th St.1 parlor floor and 113 1 flight up. I left home and while they still lived there Geo Wienhold came there to visit her. Then she moved on 3rd Ave ---- 101----- while --- four of the children were in the Orphan Asylum at 157th St. I visited mother there.They had three rooms and she had two children there wit her and Geo Weinhold was living there with her. She and Weinhold occupied a room together. I know this from observation. I was out of work and stayed there one night from necessity. They went from there to 25th and Lex Ave. Mother and Wienhold went there alone. N.E. corner. Laundry underneath. They had a furnished room two flights up. The ---- --- last June and --- ---- I think 3 or 4 months. I called there two or three times. They had a cruddy room facing on 25th. They rent as Mr. and Mrs. Simon and were supposed to be man and wife. They went next to 3rd Ave bet 115 and 116 two flights up, front room -----. They went under the ---- ---- ----. Then to 1166 2nd Ave betw 61 and 62 ---- 3rd Floor, front ---- two rooms. Then 1483 2nd Ave. Two rooms. While living there she got Frieda and Henrietta home and and ---- James at the Orphan Asylum. Weinhold still --- --- Simonds at 1483. So far as I know they are not married. E----- Schliht 1975 2nd Ave bet 108-9. She lives with her mother. They came to see me the night I stayed with mother on 3rd Avenue and she saw mother and Weinhold in bed together. This has been read to me and is correct. Mrs. Max Simonds, 24 Walwoth St. Brooklyn is my aunt. She knows about this matter.
