To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to you today as part of some genealogical research involving my Great Aunt Frieda (Simons) Noe whom I never met. Frieda and Albert Noe were homesteaders in Montana between 1913-1940. Their homestead was on Hailstone Basin Road in ___________ county, Montana. During my research I noted that your last name and the last name of their neighbor (another homesteader) on Hailstone Basin Road in 1913 is the same name, ______________ and my hope is that you or someone you know might have some information about my great aunt. Enclosed is the only photo we have of Frieda and her husband Albert. Frieda was originally from New York City and Albert Noe was from Kentucky. Albert Noe died in Montana in 1932. We do not know what happened to Frieda after 1932. We are trying to find out any information that you might have about her; when she passed, where she is buried, pictures, stories, letters etc. Perhaps the cabin in the photo is familiar to you. By the look of the construction, it is possible that the cabin is still standing today. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and I look forward to your reply. Sincerely, Claude Simon 71 TOnjes Road Callicoon, NY 12723 845 482 3439 csimon@fairlane.biz
