December 22, 2004 Att: Marc Schur RE: Dyeing of our Finished Style V238 Marc- We will be sending you approximately 1000 lbs of this style as a trial for dyeing and finishing. Please note the following special instructions that apply to this style: 1. Fabric is to be framed stable. No stretch in width or length. The exact finished width is not as critical. You should be able to get 2x60 but if you can't, it will still be ok. 2. The finish is to be firm FORMALDEHYDE FREE as standard. I believe we have used PVA in the past. The finish is critical; not too firm, not too soft. 3. The color is also critical. Use 4 layers under cool white light for color matching. Please submit wet off the beam for approval prior to framing to avoid rejects. Rgds, Claude
