FABRIC ANALYSIS NOTES 5-1-05 Getting it started is the hardest part. Work on loop side of fabric. Work with loops at top /\ /\ /\ On 1/0, 0/1 get it started so there is a loop you can pull through. Use tweezers and pick. Pull the 1/0,0/1 end towards the bottom of the fabric while holding down the yarn holding the loop in the loop. Mark yarn well and visible or cut it at the start point just enough to hold with tweezers so you can measure to the tweezers after its deknit. Deknit one column at a time all the way. After 1 column is deknit, you may be able to pull the 1/0,0/1 yarn on the next column right out. Roy used 10% for shrinkage.
