Dear Ms. Clinton: About a month ago I wrote you a nice treatise on the Alito nomination. I used my current out of state location as the return address and received an automated reply that assumed I was not a New Yorker. Believe me I am. I was born and raised in Glen Cove (Tom Suozzi?) on Long Island and graduated from Glen Cove High School. I lived full time in Manhattan for 20 years. I own an building in Manhattan, a house in Sullivan County, New York and a factory in Georgia where I am compelled to work much of the time. I went to Brooklyn Law School in downtown Brooklyn. I'm licensed to practice law in the State of New York. My father and his four siblings were born in New York in a tenement. They swam in the sewage of the East River and jumped the turnstyles to save a nickel to buy sweet potatoes on the street. They grew up in the Hebrew Orphan Asylum which was in Harlem at that time. My father is a graduate of Stuyvescent High School and CCNY. My uncle worked as a parole officer for the State of New York until his death. My other uncle worked as a child on the docks as a stevedore with my grandfather before the unions. He was then a New York City taxi driver and later worked for Off Track Betting Corporation of New York. My great grandfather, my grandmother, great uncles, and great aunts all came through Ellis Island. Now I'm going to talk to you like one New Yorker to another. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND BLOCK ALITO! THIS GUY IS A MENACE! Kindest Regards, Claude Simon
